Summit Sports approached Covalent with a need to upgrade their order management system from self-hosted and filed based FTP to a modern AWS approach.

#### Solution

Covalent deployed a development and project management team to deliver an AWS-hosted serverless solution that modernized the pre-existing file-based order management system.

#### Business Impact

As a result, Summit Sports’ operations became more efficient through the relief of managing the system on their own server (switch to AWS) and the effort it took to fix file-based system errors. Additionally, Summit Sports gained visibility into orders as they move through the system, which was not available to them in the previous system.
